OTHERS ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR OUR FUTURE

Calling On All Women for Peace: Remember, You Can Campaign, Donate, Volunteer, Tell Your Immigrant Friends to Vote Even If You Can’t Vote. Register to Vote if you can, and vote Well!

I received a forwarded e-mail from Germany today, and I thought, WOW! The e-mail came from a friend of mine, Tobe, an academecian like myself, a German, who is very much involved in Women’s Studies and Research. To my surprise, it was a mail encouraging us women to endorse Barack Obama for President, in light of all of the on-going election drama. I am right now calling in my own capacity as a forward-thinking, educated, sensible woman, one who has lost so much of my past investments in light of the Liberian civil war, and now, in this struggling economy, have watched as my own 401 K come in each quarter with more losses than gains.

I am calling on African women, immigrant women, women with pregnant daughters, women without pregnant daughters, educated women, women who work two, three, four, five jobs, women who were once refugees, women who love America, women with income, women without income, women who believe in tomorrow, women, women, women, white, black, everyone. Let us endorse Barack Obama for President. September 13-20 is Women’s Endorsement for Barack Obama month.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVEN IF YOU CAN’T VOTE: REMEMBER?
